Built in 2017, The Safari Cottages is the brainchild of safari industry veterans, Andy and Sonja Webb who wanted to create an environment that makes you feel like you have always belonged here. Above all else you’ll find unfussy, eco-friendly luxury, superior service and top quality food and guiding. Your stay with us includes a private guide and customised 4WD safari vehicle at no extra cost and a private chef to cook food just to your liking. The 90,000 acre, award winning conservancy is home to large prides of lions, leopards, elephants, rhino and more.

You will spend your days with one of our highly trained and knowledgable guides, exploring Ol Pejeta’s open plains and secret valleys by day and night and when you return for a rest and refuel you’ll indulge in decadent, lazy lunches and dinners on your verandah, tucking into Sonja’s world renowned cuisine and listening to Andy regale 40 years of wild and fascinating bush tales.

Moja Juu & Moja Chini – Are our two single bedroom cottages. Each cottage has an ensuite bedroom with a private lounge/dining room, and all rooms open out across an extensive verandah to the river and plains beyond. It is ideal for couples who want a private bush escape or small families who want to share a room with a young child.

One kitchen serves each unit so these cottages are ideally suited for clients staying on a fully inclusive package only. Each comes with a private guide and vehicle and dedicated waiter and room attendant. Meals are catered to your tastes and standards exactly, and activities are done on your own schedule.

In the cottage you will find an eco-friendly power system to charge your devices, 24hr solar electricity, hot and cold running water in the shower and wash basin, a collection of all natural bath products and soft bath towels.

Mbili Mbili – is the beating heart of Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages. She’s our pioneer cottage and is built largely of recycled wood from the ranch house that once stood here. Mbili is a two bedroom cottage, with an open plan living and dining room warmed by a roaring fire. The bedrooms are both ensuite and sleep two comfortably, or three in a triple room. All the rooms unzip, safari-style to a large verandah overlooking the river and plains beyond

Mbili has it’s own dedicated kitchen and chef, making it ideal for self-catering groups or those who just like that extra touch of privacy. It also comes with a private guide and vehicle and dedicated waiter and room attendant.

Tatu Tatu – was built because we loved Mbili so much. It’s an exact replica and the two can comfortably be used by groups of 8 or 12 as they are within walking distance of each other, but the thick bushes between them ensure privacy when it is required. The long verandah looks out to the river and plains beyond and is an ideal place to relax in the afternoons with a cup of steaming Kenyan tea. There are two bedrooms, both ensuite with a spacious living room and dining area warmed by an open fire.

Tatu has its own dedicated kitchen and chef. Making it ideal for self catering groups or those who just like that extra touch of exclusivity. It comes with a private guide and vehicle and dedicated waiter and room attendant.
