Andrew and Chyulu Francombe have created Ol Malo Nomad, a collection of tailor made experiences enchanting people deeper into this magical country. Accessing areas with their helicopter, team of camels, sure-footed horses and knowledge from the ancient tribes, experience some of Kenya’s most untouched wild spaces and smile with the wildest of faces. From this amazing location one is at adventure’s doorstep. To the West, snakes the Great Rift Valley with her flamingo pools, lava flows and painted deserts.  Samburu-land spreads North and East. Explore dramatic rivers of sand, rocky valleys and singing wells.

Ol Malo Nomad also offers guests the opportunity to get more involved and support the Samburu eco-system through the Samburu Trust to secure the land, its wildlife and a shared future.

A nomadic style mess area welcomes you after your day of riding or walking.  A tarpaulin strung between two trees furnished with traditional camping tables and chairs.

Ol Malo Nomad: Walking with Camels and / or a Riding safari with horses accompanied by Camels – Walk-in tents with fully made up camp beds to ensure a good nights sleep. Especially designed for star gazing, the tents are totally netted, but with a flysheet in case of rain, so you can lie back and enjoy the vast African night sky after your adventurous day.  Tents share bucket showers and short drop loos.

Ol Malo Nomad – Helicopter:  The tents are lightweight netted domes with a camp bed.  For the adventurous, find an isolated place to spend the the night or the itinerary could also include a stay at a more luxurious camp in the Northern part of Kenya.
