Entim is designed to give you the friendliest, most intimate, luxury safari camp experience and the best wildlife safari in the Masai Mara. Our prime location along the Mara River is unrivalled for seeing and photographing animals all year around, but particularly to observe the greatest wildlife show on earth; over a million wildebeest, zebra and antelopes migrating from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara (July-October).

You may not realise how rare it is to witness a migration river crossing, because the wildebeest can hesitate on the riverbank for days before taking the leap! But since Entim’s main wing overlooks the Mara River, while the private wing has an intimate bush setting, we see migration crossings from within camp. Entim guests are usually first on the scene, up close to all the action and other top animal sightings as and when they happen, without other tourist traffic around. We don’t have rush out of the reserve before gates close at 6.30pm, or drive for hours to get to wildlife action, because Entim is in the middle of it all in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve!

The word ‘tent’ doesn’t really do justice to the 12 new luxury en-suite guest rooms raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River. Handsomely decorated using earthy tones, there’s a seamless flow from inside to outside and down to the river. Watch animals moving to and from the river from your private lounge and veranda, or during scrumptious meals at our open-fronted dining deck.

Sit on your veranda and look over the Mara River at one of Africa’s greatest stretches of savanna, with the Rift Valley escarpment in the distance. Migrating wildebeest gather on these riverbanks and begin their migration into the Masai Mara. You will hear the sounds of grunting gnu, hippos, hyenas and lions from your bed at night. These wild animals are very closeby, so our red-robed Maasai warriors escort you to your room after dinner and drinks around the camp fire, where you’ll find a hot water bottle warming the bed.

The Private Wing

Entim Private Wing offers one of the richest safari experiences in the Masai Mara. Front row seats are ensured for private wilderness experiences led by expert driver guides. Big cats often lay in wait around Private Wing to ambush gnus crossing the river just 100-metres from camp. Private Wing is stylishly simple with comforts and luxuries that make your stay memorable. Its is about experiencing serenity of the Mara and its enchanting wilderness. The eight tents at Private overlook a small spring surrounded by trees. The Camp is designed for solo travelers, couples and small groups who desire complete exclusivity. You can view game straight from your private verandah, nothing else really matter.
