Eagle view is located on an escarpment, with sweeping views that overlook the Koiyaki Plains, a natural salt lick and watering hole all providing a common hunting site for predators and unique game viewing perspectives. With this modern eco-camp, we invite you to gaze towards the future of sustainable tourism.
The camp overlooks a natural waterhole where the wild animals come to drink. The area is one of Africa’s prime game viewing destinations with all year round abundant wildlife as well as home to the highest population of lions in Africa.
National Geographic has named Eagle View as one of the top 25 eco-lodges in the world.
The vision of Eagle View was to blend the best of ecological architecture with state-of-the-art minimalist design to perfectly complement the overwhelming natural surroundings. As a highly acclaimed conservancy model for wildlife and nature conservation management, in 2013 Eagle View was named one of the top twenty-five eco-lodges in the world by National Geographic Traveller’s Magazine – the only camp in Kenya on the list.
Due to the camp’s wild and rustic nature, the recommended age for children staying at Eagle View Camp is 7 years. The recommended age for walking safaris is 12 years, this age also applies to Dorobo Mobile Camp. Dining in the African bush is an experience that ignites all 5 senses, with the tantalizing of the taste buds being the obvious one. It is a peaceful, exciting, fulfilling and mysterious experience.
Each tent offers king-size double or twin beds, a bathroom featuring bio-flush toilets and two showers, one inside and one open-air safari shower, in-room Wifi, private elevated viewing deck with exceptional views of Naboisho Conservancy.
