Located on a beautiful, forested bend of the Talek River, right next to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, lies the latest addition to the portfolio – Basecamp Adventure.

The intimate and relaxed atmosphere of the camp allows you a unique safari experience in a prime wildlife area. It is the ideal place to unwind, either in the lounge reading a book or from the comfort of your tent, where you can spot different animals as they take a refreshing drink from the river.

Our camp activities are designed for those who want to immerse themselves in the local community, its culture and experience the day-to-day conservation efforts to save our common heritage.

Seamlessly blending in with the natural surroundings Basecamp Adventure has 6 accommodation tents, each fitted with a double bed, bio-flush toilets, solar-heated showers, and a private terrace with stunning views of the river and the plains beyond.

An amazing safari adventure awaits you in the Masai Mara as you participate in special activities, such as dining under the stars with a barbeque bush dinner, a beautiful river view breakfast or lunch under the dappled shade of the giant fig trees, each complemented by a selection of drinks. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.

The breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape makes you feel more closely connected with nature. Embark on a camp tour and learn about our conservation projects then end your day with talks by the campfire with local Maasai.

The camp is ideal for solo travellers, families, photographers and couples looking for an exclusive and intimate escape. The prices are based on four people and include accommodation, all meals, mineral water, airstrip transfers, shared game drive safaris and Masai Mara Park fees. Domestic and international flights are not included. Children 3-12 years sharing a tent with adults pay 50% of the full rate.
